I found this photo a long time ago and loved it…but it is only now that I have summoned the savvy to share it.
What do you think? Will this image hold true much longer?

I think it’s more like YA Fantasy section. There are zombie novels, post-apocalyptic, even killer unicorns. You can find practically every genre, but there does seem to be a huge emphasis in vampire/werewolf/supernatural/fantasy, etc.
Of course, I remember the days when if you wrote fantasy you kind of whispered it in this shamed kind of way, because only the geekiest of geeks actually read that stuff. For all non-fantasy readers/writers out there, the cycle will change and some other genre will take over for a time.

A) This made me laugh
B) I am majorly impressed that I didn’t have to try to read the photo sideways. Good work.

I think . . . it could. The fantasy train shows no signs of slowing down.

lol! I love the picture. I have nothing against vampire novels, but I’m getting tired of teen vampire romance novels.

It won’t last. Vampires are soooo yesterday. Werewolves are the next trend.

I love it. The picture, not the trend.
