I’ve always thought I need to ride trains more. Whenever I’m stressed, I imagine riding a train because it’s taking you someplace else, it’s customary to just sit there, and you don’t have to meet obligations, because hey, you’re on a train! Nobody could expect you to get any work done on a train.

Sarah, I agree. You can really bond over French fries.

And Jo, ever since I found out Carrie AND Cynthia were our mutual friends, I knew we needed to hang out more. I hope to have writerly lunches with both of you soon.

Valynne–you called it! The REAL reason I didn’t take pictures of my Train Buddies is because I didn’t have a camera. Which also explains the lack of food pictures in this post.
